By the wish of Their Majesties, Darius and Alethea, The Northern Shores Region, will undergo a polling to see if they wish to advance to Principality Status.
The Polling will be conducted as per East Kingdom Law. Polling Ballots will be sent to members of the SCA who reside within the Borders of the Northern Shores Region. Ballots will be returned to Master Aetheric, Northern Shores Regional Seneschal. He will in turn send the unopened polling ballots, in bulk and toto, to THL Marietta deFirenze, Branchpolling Deputy Seneschal who will tabulate the Pollings along with 2 other qualified counters and given to the Kingdom Seneschal for recommendation to Their Majesties. (This is being done since no-one in the Northern Shores Region would be a qualified counter as all who reside there would be in Interested Party. The inital return to Master Aetheric is to reduce the possibility of pollings being misdirected via international mail).
It is expected, once final wording for the polling is set, that the polls should be sent out during the middle of the month of November and need be returned by the middle to late December of 2008.
All persons who wish to advise Their Maesties on this matter, are encouraged to communicate their thoughts to Their Majesties and to the Kingdom Seneschal.
