Off-site accommodations at hotels should be booked by the attendee themselves. Listed below are some possibilities.
They have offered a 36% discount from their usual rate for 4 people per room! Based upon 4 people / room (two queen beds), the usual price was dropped to $89, plus applicable tax.
They have held a block of 65 rooms for event attendees. To get the special rate, you will have to say you are booking for the "spring crown tourney". You will also have to book before Friday, April 11th. That's when the hold on the rooms is lifted.
This Inn is located on the Trans-Canada highway between Oromocto and Fredericton, about 8 km from the event site. They offered these rates:
single : $70
couple, 1 bed : $80
couple, 2 beds : $90
3 or 4 persons, 2 beds : $99
plus HST (13%). All room rates include a continental breakfast. The manager said he would be willing to negotiate with individuals at the time of booking for special rates. They have no wheelchair accessible bathrooms.
